About the position

Reporting into the SVP of Marketing, North America you will have strategic responsibility for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies for North America Partners and Ecosystems. This position plays a critical role in generating demand, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth for Palo Alto Networks. The Senior Director will lead a team of partner marketing professionals and collaborate closely with partner sales leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with global and regional business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive multi-million dollar pipeline and revenue through the strategic development and execution of highly targeted, integrated marketing campaigns within our diverse partner ecosystem.
  • Shape the strategic direction of NAM partner marketing, acting as a trusted advisor to senior sales executives, and translating complex business objectives into impactful, measurable marketing plans.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team of 15+ marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and accountability that consistently delivers exceptional results.
  • Optimize significant marketing investments, leveraging a data-driven approach to ensure maximum ROI and continuous improvement across all partner marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration and brand consistency across global and regional teams, amplifying our message and market presence through our critical cloud service provider (CSP, Global systems Integrators (GSIs), Traditional distributors) and ISV alliances.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of demonstrated success leading marketing organizations for a tech company.
  • Experience in generating new and innovative approaches to problems and challenging the status quo.
  • Demonstrated success acting as the business partner to partner sales executives.
  • Deep and wide knowledge and relationships within the technology partner/ecosystem space.
  • Solid experience inclusively communicating to ensure diversity of voice is heard.
  • Proven experience consistently delivering on expectations and getting the job done.
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way.
  • Proven track record striving for excellence, both personally and across the teams you've led.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, and budget in an efficient, productive manner.
  • Solid understanding of funnel metrics and actions that can be taken to continuously improve conversion.
  • Ability to develop people and coach them in their current roles.
  • Ability to set goals, drive team performance and excellence.
  • Willingness to travel as required, approximately 30%.
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business, marketing, or technology is preferred.
  • Sales or partner sales background can be a plus.
