About the position

Nexthink isn’t just a software company. We created and lead the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) category — and now we’re looking for a storyteller and strategist who can help us take it to the next level. This is your opportunity to own the narratives that define an entire market, connect complex technology to C-level priorities, and bring our platform to life in ways that inspire action. If you can turn product features into movements and messaging into moments, we want to talk. We’re looking for a Sr. Director, Product Marketing (based in Boston, MA) to lead the development and execution of our product positioning, messaging, and storytelling strategy for Nexthink’s DEX solutions. You’ll be responsible for translating complex technology into inspiring narratives that resonate with our audiences—from IT leaders to the C-suite—and drive engagement, demand, and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a category evangelist, shaping and amplifying Nexthink’s role as the DEX leader to analysts, press, partners, and executive audiences.
  • Build persona-based narratives that resonate from IT ops to the CIO suite, connecting emotional hooks to business-critical outcomes.
  • Craft positioning that differentiates Nexthink and elevates our entire portfolio in a fast-evolving market.
  • Translate technical features into compelling, human stories that make customers and executives lean in.
  • Deliver presentations that earn the trust and attention of senior IT leaders and C-level audiences.
  • Represent Nexthink on stage and in market conversations as a thought leader in the future of Digital Employee Experience.
  • Own GTM strategy for major launches and cross-sell initiatives, aligning tightly with Product, Sales, and Growth Marketing.
  • Drive competitive positioning, pricing narratives, and value frameworks that accelerate adoption and revenue.
  • Operate with urgency, ensuring our messaging keeps pace with the velocity of our engineering and product teams.
  • Lead creation of high-impact content — solution briefs, ROI stories, executive decks, and customer case studies.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to arm field teams with the tools and messaging they need to win CIOs and IT leaders.
  • Stay ahead of trends and competitive shifts to continuously evolve our category narrative.
  • Conduct persona research, customer interviews, and win/loss analysis to refine positioning and GTM strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software (Senior Director level for 10+).
  • Proven ability to craft compelling, persona-based storytelling that connects technical solutions to executive priorities.
  • Track record of elevating positioning and messaging to win the ear of CIOs and senior IT executives.
  • Experience serving as a category evangelist, driving thought leadership in a fast-growing market.
  • Expertise in GTM strategy, competitive positioning, and launch execution.
  • Experience operating at the speed of agile product and engineering teams.
  • Executive presence and presentation skills; comfortable representing the company at major events.
  • Background in IT, digital experience, or infrastructure software (VDI, endpoint management, EUC) a plus.

Benefits

  • Flexible Hours and unlimited vacation (employees have unlimited paid time off on top of the 15 days of holidays we offer), 11 company-paid holidays, and 3 extra days for volunteering.
  • Hybrid work model that balances office and remote work, with structured onboarding to foster connections and team integration.
  • Free access to professional training platforms to explore your interests and enhance your skills.
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid leave for birthing parents/primary caregivers, 6 weeks for secondary caregivers.
  • Plan for the future with a 401(k) plan featuring up to 4% company matching contributions, vesting immediately, to grow your retirement savings.
  • Bonuses for referring successful hires after three months of continuous employment.
