Our Retirement Solutions Technology team is seeking a talented individual to join a team of software engineers working on the RSC and DCdirect/RPLink applications. In this role, you'll leverage your experience in modern web technologies, APIs, and Java, along with your expertise in cloud-native platforms and secure coding practices. Effective communication and collaboration within the team, across teams, and departments are critical to success.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and best practices.
  • Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
  • Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
  • Manages project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.

Requirements

  • Experience as a full-stack developer building Angular web applications and Java server applications.
  • Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, RESTful API, Apigee, and SQL.
  • Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
  • Experience using GitHub Version Control.
  • Experience working in an Agile team and possess DevSecOps knowledge.
  • Two or more years of analysis and technology experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building automated tests using Cypress.
  • Insurance/financial services industry knowledge.
