About the position

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing to join our fast-paced Consumer Marketing team. In this role, you will help lead and position Tatcha as a global marketing pioneer through leadership that builds and grows our communities, educates on our brand ethos and culture with our communities, drives brand awareness and enhances brand affinity with consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Own assigned tier of Influencer Marketing activities for Tatcha.
  • Oversee the creation, development and leadership of influencer marketing relationships and strategies that bring the brand strategy to life in creative and resonant ways to drive scale, amplify the brand story, educate and inspire consumers, while improving social sentiment and recognition.
  • Develop framework for distribution of influencer content across paid, owned, and earned outlets to yield high levels of exposure to desired audiences and quality engagements across the media spectrum.
  • Lead the development and implementation of benchmarking and measurement standards to improve tracking of the effectiveness of influencer programs and its impact on brand health and ROI.
  • Lead the management of external Influencer partners and Influencer agencies including the negotiations of agency and technology SOWs.
  • Identify emerging talent and opportunities for first to market partnerships – considering reach against a targeted audience based on core demographic, mindsets, interests, and behaviors.
  • Continuously review and assess the competitive environment.
  • Develop and set the precedent for Tatcha’s affiliate program strategy; build out the affiliate payout structure, communications, and a robust roster of key, high-value creator partners that drive brand equity and new creator launches.
  • Partner closely with internal brand, Social, PR and community teams to help concept, develop and launch engaging brand and digital stories and associated creative assets that can be leveraged across the marketing mix, including paid, owned, and earned media channels for new product launches and brand campaigns.
  • Foster strong cross-functional and peer connections to drive powerful and meaningful brand campaigns/activations with the understanding of how Influencer Marketing activities and activations broadly impact product and brand campaigns ideas and executions.
  • Partner very closely on a daily basis with your Social, PR and Creative team colleagues to help integrate and amplify the Influencer marketing experience and exposure across all social channels including for new product launch activations.
  • Plan and manage the influencer marketing budget, including monthly forecasting and accruals.
  • Establish process and structure to measure and track Influencer Marketing activities.
  • Sets appropriate KPIs for the function and all initiatives.
  • Interpret performance results and provide future-forward insights and recommendations.
  • Identify and explore new measurement opportunities for assessing the ROI of brand marketing investments.
  • Act as a key organizational leader that champions an internal culture aligned with the brand vision.
  • Lead a cross-functional workflow process to achieve marketing goals with clear ownership, deliverables, and accountability across the organization.
  • Continuously measure and improve work, formalizing reporting on key metrics. Assess and drive investment in and management of the appropriate analytic tools to optimize marketing performance.
  • Develop, hire, coach, and support your team and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Implement processes, standards, and infrastructure to have maximum impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 8-10+ years of related experience; beauty, fashion or retail preferred
  • Proven track record of leading and developing a high performing team
  • Depth of experience in managing influencer relations
  • A solid grasp of navigating and winning in the 'new' world of public relations and word of mouth marketing
  • Strong examples of ability to influence and build productive relationships internally and externally across, up and down an organization
  • Operational experience guiding process to maximize quality work, deadline adherence, and budget management
  • Experience working with international markets a plus
  • Must be based in the Los Angeles Metro Area
