About the position

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Marketing team as a Sr. Manager, Marketing Planning and Execution based in Miami, FL. The Sr. Manager, Marketing Planning & Execution supports the team with developing and executing the testing of the marketing plans, initiatives, promotions, and communications related to the marketing value pillar for Subway. An essential part of this role is to lead the cross functional teams to execute the testing and execution for national calendar windows, planning and buy-in of the strategy and insights for the value pillar. The role also assists by defining competitive market needs and opportunities and provides ongoing marketing support that ensures the competitiveness of our value barbell strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develops value test plans, processes, and programs, and leads project management and presentations
  • Partners with Marketing and Cross-functional leaders to develop, gain alignment to and execute an insight-driven value pipeline that delivers on strategic objectives
  • Works with Insights and Analytics on market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs
  • Managing projects according to Test Budgets including budget planning and invoicing processes
  • In collaboration with Strategy and Execution team, support development of the annual strategic marketing calendar and communication needs with focus on consumer and business impacts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Mass Communications
  • 5-7 years foodservice experience, preferably with agency or corporate brand marketing/field marketing teams in relative country
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing, business administration, sales, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in developing and executing marketing plans and programs
  • Experience leveraging primary research, data and consumer insights into actionable business initiatives
  • Franchisee, restaurant, hospitality food, or beverage experience preferred
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to spot trends in data and information that will guide appropriate and sound business decisions
  • Strong tenacity, creativity, and partnering skills to overcome persistent challenges with the team
  • Adaptability and can react to the short-term demands of a very fast paced business while not losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, innate curiosity, and growth mindset
  • Strong communication and business presentation skills
