About the position

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We are seeking a product manager to join the Mainstreet Card Product Acquisitions group, owning the personalization and customer journey product agenda for many of Capital One's most popular credit cards. Mainstreet is at the heart of Capital One, driving billions of dollars in revenue each year as the largest Segment within Card. By providing next generation Card shopping experiences, you will directly drive hundreds of thousands of incremental acquisitions and hundreds of millions of dollars of incremental revenue for Capital One. In this role, you will lead through innovation to define the vision of personalization for Capital One customers as they shop and apply for credit cards. This will require you to understand both the Mainstreet customer personas and business outcomes to build end-to-end experiences that 'wow' customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Managers while building a great place to work for yourself and your team
  • Own the UI/UX personalization agenda for Mainstreet Card Product, defining the vision and roadmap to success
  • Deliver on that agenda to improve the CX for tens of millions of customers each year, driving hundreds of thousands of incremental bookings
  • Build updates to both front-end and back-end experiences, including our customer-facing Site experiences and real-time intelligent data
  • Collaborate from the heart of Capital One Card, partnering with Product and Business Analysts from across Card (Upmarket, Platforms, Partnerships, and SBC)
  • Drive the agenda for Tech teams working directly with Mainstreet Card as well as many platform Product and Tech teams
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, especially on our Pre-Approval and Direct Apply experiences

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
