About the position

Micron Technology is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Manager in Product Marketing to develop and manage a team in the Mobile and Client Business Unit. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies highlighting the ground-breaking role AI at the Edge will contribute to these market segments. This role is essential for driving the adoption and success of Micron's ground breaking products to market, enabling new advancements in the mobile/compute segments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Identify and develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Micron's products in the market beyond the regular power/performance metrics.
  • Identify new use cases centered around generative AI and how Micron’s memory/storage solutions offer the efficient solution.
  • Build and implement go-to-market strategies, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and technical sales enablement materials.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Architecture, Product Engineering, Roadmap and Applications teams to identify and articulate the value of Micron's products to customers.
  • Lead and build innovative marketing content across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Deliver targeted marketing content to customers specifically around memory and storage solutions for the Mobile and Client PC segment.
  • Develop, supervise and manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and partners to support marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience building and leading high performing teams.
  • Technical depth and knowledge of data center products and solutions with memory and storage.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product marketing or a related field.
  • Must have experience with enterprise marketing and announcing Mobile or PC Client products to a technical target market.
  • Creative attitude with the ability to think strategically and innovate.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends.
  • Excellent, efficient writing capabilities, with strong communication, interpersonal, and social skills.
  • Ability to work across a matrixed organization, collaborating strongly with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in AI and Client/Mobile segments.
