Sr. Managers, Product Management located in Bellevue, WA will lead a data quality team to deliver accurate and timely datasets for Products and Supply Chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team to develop and automate large scale, high-performance ETL processes to drive Data staging, Report and Dashboard subscriptions, and improve the Report experience.
- Understand and influence logging to support data flow, architecting logging best practices where needed.
- Contribute to shared Data Engineering tooling and standards to improve the productivity and quality of output for Data Engineers across the organization.
- Provide leadership oversight to a team that is responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of the business' ETLs and Data pipelines.
- Build cross functional relationships between business solutions and IT support groups to ensure alignment in all data engineering processes, ensuring that teams work effectively together in prioritizing and accurately tracking tasks.
- Lead a team and drive results through that team to ensure all roadblocks are resolved and tasks are completed accurately and timely.
- Review reports developed by the team, including accuracy and presentation.
- Contribute to the career advancement of team members through coaching and trainings.
Requirements
- Utilizing SQL to retrieve and analyze data from database tables using TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, DataBricks and Azure SQL.
- Utilizing Python and Azure Data Factory automation and data modeling.
- Experiencing SQL Service Analysis Services for data modeling by building and managing source of truth data sets using Cubes.
- Understanding theory and practicing design of experiments and statistical analysis of Predictive models.
- Understanding theory and practicing information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining.
- Drawing insights from data and clearly communicate them to both business and technical teams.
