About the position

As a part of the North America Commercial Organization, the Sr Marketing Manager will support the CCIA marketing team to develop and implement strategies to strengthen Beckman Coulter’s presence in the Clinical Chemistry and Immunoassay market. This role involves collaborating with the Sales organization to drive execution of marketing tactics and developing programs to support strategic priorities in the North America market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and sustain strategies to drive adoption for Beckman Coulter’s clinical chemistry and immunoassay solutions.
  • Manage the product life cycle from pre-submission to product launch and target achievement.
  • Monitor target markets, analyze performance data, and implement strategies to move customers through the buying cycle.
  • Architect and execute menu expansion strategies for existing install base upon new assay launches.
  • Provide inputs for forecasts and demand planning leveraging insights into target markets and customer behavior.
  • Build relationships with key thought leaders to gather Voice of Customer and market needs.
  • Facilitate communication between business and sales teams while crafting innovative strategies and tools.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of professional experience in marketing for diagnostics, life sciences, or similar industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline; MA or PhD preferred.
  • Eight years of experience in clinical diagnostics commercial marketing, sales, ideally in chemistry, immunoassay, and automation/clinical IT markets.
  • In-depth understanding of the IVD industry, FDA, medical laboratory environment, and hospital stakeholders.
  • Commercial experience with a focus on market development, downstream marketing, and/or sales.
