About the position

This job assumes responsibility for crafting compelling advertising and brand copy that connects with target audiences and drives results. Working collaboratively with designers, videographers, strategists, and marketing professionals to develop copy that aligns with campaign goals and brand tone. The position requires the candidate to have experience writing for a variety of channels. Content may include, but is not limited to, out-of-home marketing, print and display ads, broadcast commercials, sponsorships materials and web. This position requires attention to detail with experience elevating a brand's voice and tone while maintaining brand integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for various advertising formats including broadcast television and radio scripts, outdoor billboards, digital ads, social media and print ads.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, brand strategists and marketing and communications colleagues to concept and execute cohesive campaigns.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategic initiatives and supporting programs and material.
  • Independently implement all aspects of planning, implementation, execution, tracking and budgeting for community hospital and service line/department marketing.
  • Analyze data, track outcomes to determine marketing impact, and methodically manage budgets to seek opportunities for cost reduction and outcome improvement.
  • Draft, edit and/or proofread marketing material and copy.
  • Design advertising and collateral material while maintaining consistency with brand or sub-branding guidelines or collaborate/manage external/internal designers and/or production firms.
  • Support system brand and marketing initiatives across all marketing channels through the implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years related Marketing experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of advertising copy across different media.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.
  • Self-directed and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player mentality.
  • Ability to accept feedback and revise work accordingly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience as a copywriter in an agency or in-house marketing team.
