About the position

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience, the Sr. Product Manager is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap of features for the attraction, engagement, and retention of residents. This person will work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, sales, technology, and third-party vendors to identify customer needs and deliver innovative solutions. This leader will oversee the following products and processes: FKH.com, Rently, Qualtrics, Voyager, RentCafe, Resident Journey, CRM, marketing integrations and the home onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies: Conduct market research, identify resident needs, and define the product roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams: Coordinate teams from different departments to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality product delivery.
  • Manage the product lifecycle: Define product features, create product requirements documents (PRD), and work with development teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Communicate product vision and roadmap: Effectively communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and team members.
  • Define product metrics and KPIs: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Identify and prioritize product enhancements: Identify opportunities for product enhancement and collaborate with the development team for implementation.
  • Communicate the results: Effectively communicate learnings across the business.
  • Home Onboarding: Manage the process of uploading digital home assets and improving the onboarding process.
  • Maintain products: Ensure ongoing health and uptime of products.
  • Manage external vendors: Work with and manage external vendors to improve, create, or manage products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience and/or education.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Background in software development and program management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile framework.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent; prior experience as an engineer is desirable.
  • Experience working in a fast pace, high-growth company.
