We have an opening for a Senior SDE on the Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) Actions team. AMC teams build a secure, privacy-safe, and dedicated cloud-based environment where advertisers can perform analytics across multiple data sets. The role will focus on architecting and implementing core platform capabilities for AMC Actions, including audience creation systems, data planes, MLOps, and integration with various AWS services (in particular, AWS Clean Rooms). Our services process billions of behavioral signals daily across complex distributed systems. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions for challenges such as query optimization, data plane architecture, and system integration. We work with cutting-edge technologies including massive-scale streaming systems, machine learning infrastructure, and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate will have strong system design experience and can lead technical initiatives that span multiple teams and across organizations. You'll work on complex technical challenges focused on decoupling customer intent from processing, implementing graceful failure handling at scale, and simplifying/consolidating our technical stack. The role involves designing APIs that expose resources effectively, enabling using audiences through deterministic and non-deterministic solutions, building management systems for handling resource priorities and dependencies, and creating execution frameworks that can handle diverse audience types. Experience with distributed systems, resource management, and building maintainable service architectures is valuable.
