About the position

The Email & SMS Marketing Staff Assistant will be responsible for building, executing, and optimizing targeted email and SMS campaigns. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for sports and live events, who excels at using HubSpot to create personalized, data-driven messaging strategies. In this role, you will be central to enhancing fan engagement, driving ticket sales, and amplifying promotional efforts through strategic audience segmentation and automated communication workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Email Creation: building, executing, and optimizing targeted email and SMS campaigns.
  • Audience Segmentation: Understand audience segments based on fan behaviors, ticket purchases, event participation, and demographic data to tailor marketing strategies.
  • Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the brand marketing team to execute multi-channel campaigns, ensuring messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including CRM, brand marketing, partnerships, and creative teams, to align marketing automation strategies with broader business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Previous internships in a digital marketing space.
  • Experience with marketing software such as HubSpot.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with SMS marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills.
  • Brings creativity and adaptability to a fast paced environment, with a strong eagerness and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
