Staff Product Manager, Atlas

About the position

As a product manager on the Atlas team, you'll gain a deep understanding of what early stage founders need to get their company off the ground, identify the most important pain points to solve, set the product strategy, scope product features and technical infrastructure, collaborate with design, drive execution with engineering, craft product marketing, and plan for go-to-market. In short, your role is to ensure Atlas becomes more and more impactful for founders.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand the needs of startup founders and learn how they use Atlas and other startup products
• Drive product development by setting the pace, prioritizing ruthlessly, and unblocking execution
• Craft product experiences that are both simple and powerful, with surprisingly great details
• Write our strategy and deliver business outcomes. You'll think like an investor when it comes to allocating our small team and identifying market opportunities
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, communicate progress with Stripe's leadership team, and steer the broader organization to build for early stage startups
• Represent Atlas externally with founders, venture capitalists, accelerators, and partners

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management or product-focused founder experience
• Shipped user-facing or API products, built on complex technical systems running at scale
• Passion for helping founders build their businesses
• Persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product is successful
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems

Nice-to-haves

• Founder background, or experience in a very early stage company environment
• Software engineering experience, a computer science or engineering degree, or similar technical experience
