About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain for the components and subsystems used in the manufacture of EagleNXT’s drones, sensors and associated products for our Allen, TX site. The SSM is a key part of EagleNXT’s global procurement team and will work with other SSM’s to develop and execute an integrated sourcing strategy for all of EagleNXT’s operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• A minimum of five years of related experience in a growing aerospace or electronics firm overseeing at least $5M in annual spend
• Strong negotiation skills
• Demonstrated experience in supporting rapidly scaling operations in both “Build to Order” to a “Mass Production” environment
• Experience working in a regulated industry with expertise in pertinent import/export regulations (e.g. FAA, ITAR, etc.) and quality system requirements such as ISO-9001 and/or AS-9100
• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and NetSuite applications
• Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the AgEagle organization plus customer and supplier personnel

Responsibilities

• Selects, evaluates and manages supplier relationships for assigned components and subsystems.
• Oversees day-to-day procurement activity for the Allen site, including issuing and reviewing purchase orders, coordinating RFQ and inbound logistics activities.
• Working closely with site leadership and Engineering, manages site inventory levels to meet working capital goals and fill rate expectations. Coordinates product lifecycle management activities with Product Management representatives.
• Develops and implements risk mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted supply of critical components and subsystems.
• Leads supply chain localization efforts needed to ensure continued compliance with UAS “Blue List” requirements and other applicable rules and regulations for EagleNXT’s products
• Monitors and continually seeks to improve KPI’s related to cost, delivery, quality and service pertaining to EagleNXT’s supply base.
