We are seeking an energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic individual to join our summer camp team! As a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging experience for all campers. You will assist with activities, supervise campers, and contribute to a positive camp environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Head teacher with engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more.
- Maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Playground App.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with your direct report, ensuring they're up to speed on daily occurrences and addressing any issues that arise in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- While having 1 year of experience working with kiddos under 13 is awesome, it's not a must-have.
- Get ready to ace a background check.
- Medically fit to rock all the job duties and free of any communicable diseases.
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat with exceptional people skills.
- Professional, reliable, and always prompt.
- Able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.) to keep up with kids.
