About the position

Accomplishes business development activities by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans; implementing sales plans; managing staff.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the Marketing department.
  • Supports administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Manages Promotions at OTB's and maintains ongoing communication with all OTB managers.
  • Ensures that all property collateral at OTB's are up to date.
  • Coordinates and executes all retail promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Establish effective working relationships with sales and agency leadership to ensure that our products and services are implemented through sales enablement and marketing demand generation programs.
  • Provide feedback into product development and service offers and participate in their development.
  • Collaborate to create, launch and track performance of product and service offerings in our markets.
  • Support OTB and Slot facility on social media.
  • Make website updates as needed.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate field sales enablement tools.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Participating in professional organizations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies or members of the staff.
  • Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner.
  • Ability to perform normal mathematical computations in regards to the implementation of current duties.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming and Racing License from Louisiana Racing Commission.
