About the position

Gigamon, recently certified as a Great Place to Work, helps the world’s leading organizations run fast, stay secure, and innovate. We provide the industry’s first elastic visibility and analytics fabric, which closes the cloud visibility gap by enabling cloud tools to see the network and network tools to see the cloud. With visibility across their hybrid cloud network, organizations can improve customer experience, eliminate security blind spots, and reduce cost and complexity. Gigamon has been awarded over 90 technology patents and enjoys world-class customer satisfaction, serving more than 4,000 organizations, including over 80 percent of the Fortune 100 and numerous government and educational institutions worldwide. At Gigamon, we’re not just improving operations and security — we’re reimagining them. With nearly 2x the market share of our next competitors combined, we’re uniquely positioned to become the data pipeline for every security, observability, and AI/ML tool in the enterprise. We’re looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) who’s part storyteller, part builder, and 100% driven to make an impact. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, sales, and customers — translating vision into real-world proof.

Responsibilities

  • Craft killer demos and enablement content for our field, partners, and customers.
  • Deliver field-ready training and scalable content that gets adopted across the org.
  • Conduct a competitive product teardown.
  • Work with ecosystem partners to determine joint value, and at times build the integration prototype.
  • Help customers understand why Gigamon matters, not just how it works.
  • Create technical collateral: demo videos, blogs, white papers, and deployment guides.
  • Validate crazy ideas with customers, prototype future Gigamon solutions.
  • Help the world’s largest orgs apply network-derived telemetry into private LLMs for operations and security.
  • Travel occasionally (every 6–8 weeks on average).

Requirements

  • You have a CS degree, or you’re skilled with code and know how to get things running.
  • You’ve spent 5+ years in systems engineering — spinning up VPCs, deploying solutions, building demos.
  • You know your way around networking, or DevOps and CI/CD — bonus if you’ve done both.
  • You’re a strong communicator — the face of Gigamon front of our biggest customers.
  • You’re a self-starter who gets bored if you’re not building something or pushing boundaries.
  • You pick up new technologies fast. AI, ML, cloud-native security.

Benefits

  • Base salary compensation range targeted for this role is $136,000 - $170,000.
  • Opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission.
