The challenge
As a Sr Technical Marketing Manager you will play a key role in executing on technical marketing efforts for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Mobile. You will work closely with product management, product engineering, and product marketing to assist with the creation of technical content that will support go-to-market efforts and ongoing activities to further product adoption. You will work closely with Adobes solution consultants, technical support, consulting, and partner teams to ensure they have the necessary technical tools that help position AEM Mobile to customers.
Projects will include:
* Building components for mobile app proof-of-concept demos that integrate with the full stack of AEM capabilities
* API documentation complete with creative use examples and code snippets
* Sample integrations with third-party authoring and workflow systems, data sources, and authentication systems
This position requires a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will have a background in:
* Computer Science or related field, with hands-on coding experience.
* Critical skills include HTML, CSS and JavaScript for front-end development along with a proficiency in Java for server-side development.
* Experience with web content management systems (e.g., AEM, Drupal, WordPress, or similar technologies).
* Conceptual understanding of data storage or other unstructured/flexible data modeling is a plus. You will need to be a fast learner who is very adept at learning new technologies.
You should have a passion for technology, you should be creative and enjoy finding new ways to communicate technical concepts. You must be self-motivated. You will need to be an effective communicator and good with people. You must be able to think differently and anticipate the needs of a customer.
What you need to succeed
* Web programming skills are required. Must be good with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java.
* Familiarity with RESTful web application architectures is a big plus.
* Knowledgeable in software coding practices including experience with Git SCM.
* Preference given to candidates with hands-on experience with AEM or similar web content management solutions in an implementation capacity.
* Solid communication and presentation skills that include strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
* Must be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced innovative environment.
* Strong independent thinker who sees things differently and always looks to improve.
