About the position

2K is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to oversee and steward the product vision and strategy for our product orchestration toolset. You will report to the Director of Product and partner closely with business, product, and game teams to identify and deliver product opportunities that enhance 2K studio and publishing teams’ ability to manage and orchestrate our game products to players around the world. Your role will involve refining and evolving the strategy, building a long-term roadmap, defining product requirements and acceptance criteria, and driving alignment with stakeholders, partners, and peers. You will also perform competitive analysis, customer interviews, KPI development, and reporting, while developing strong partnerships across 2K, including marketing, game production, studio development, and product-feature teams.

Responsibilities

  • Inform and steward the vision and strategy for the product orchestration and administration platform.
  • Refine and evolve the strategy, build a long-term roadmap, define product requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive alignment with stakeholders, partners, and peers.
  • Perform competitive analysis, customer interviews, KPI development, and reporting.
  • Develop strong partnerships across 2K, including marketing, game production, studio development, and product-feature teams.
  • Inspire trust and confidence through clear and proactive communication, customer empathy, and reliable execution.
  • Work closely with peers in product management, engineering, and program leadership to plan effectively.
  • Validate product and technical assumptions and iteratively deliver value.
  • Contribute to shared views of quality across multiple dimensions.
  • Advocate on behalf of the product, the customer, and the player.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years in product management, building and delivering technical software products.
  • Conversant in technical issues to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Basic understanding of web application development, web APIs, microservice architectures, and frontend development concerns.
  • Experience managing technical debt and balancing business and technical tradeoffs.
  • Superb communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid attention to detail.
  • Experience in dynamic environments requiring versatility and creative problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, ideally in a related field.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow as a product and team leader.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the gaming industry with an understanding of game development or publishing cycles.
  • Experience with application orchestration and admin tools and interfaces.
