  • Monitor and adjust audio/video signals to maintain broadcast standards and resolve issues in real time during live productions.
  • Configure, maintain, and upgrade studio, control room, and AV systems, including setups for large-scale events and meetings.
  • Collaborate with producers, directors, and vendors to plan and execute productions, documenting workflows and ensuring technical readiness.
  • Train and support staff on studio equipment and production workflows; establish and maintain best practices.
  • Travel up to 20% of the year to support offsite productions as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in studio production, live broadcast engineering, or event technical direction.
  • Proficiency with AV systems, audio engineering, video switchers, and streaming encoders (e.g., vMix, OBS, LiveU, AWS Elemental).
  • Hands-on experience with Blackmagic Design tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and technical production workflows.
  • Familiarity with streaming protocols (RTMP, SRT, HLS) and remote/hybrid event platforms.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends during live events.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven ability to lead corporate broadcasts, video productions, and live/hybrid events from both technical and creative perspectives.
  • Experience designing, troubleshooting, and repairing AV and broadcast systems across studio and field environments.
  • Skilled in visual effects for live production, including chromakeying and keying techniques.
  • Familiarity with remote production tools and collaborative virtual production platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of evolving technologies, media platforms, and broadcast standards.
