Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic and/or optical areas.
  • Design, fabrication, procurement, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed solutions.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to lead, work and communicate effectively. Exercises good judgment when communicating to all levels in the business organization.
  • Experience with and understanding of automation / manual assembly, various types of welding technologies, solvent bonding, crimping, 3D modeling/printing, micro-machining, molding.
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong communicative skills with the ability to work within the immediate group. Ability to gather, confirm and convey information.
  • Ability to work with supervision and take direction from peers.
  • Problem solving mindset and ability to work on less complex projects and activities when/where necessary.
