Develops, sponsors and/or influences the strategies and tactics across functional groups and/or within a product group. Drives innovative idea generation for the products under their management. May act as an individual contributor or may lead a team to ensure that the product management effort is integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing. Has responsibility for full marketing cycle for specific product categories, as well as financial responsibilities which include management of the P&L for their product(s). Has extensive technical or functional knowledge of product(s) managed. Products managed are generally more complex than those managed by less senior level product managers. As the product owner for B2B Virtual Cards, the incumbent will own the P/L for the product and partner closely with Sales and Marketing to drive the commercialization and expansion of one of our largest product lines. This position will lead the partnership with internal technology, global partners and top Fintechs to bring to market and manage Bank of America's Virtual Cards product based on the feedback of our sales teams and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, sponsors and/or influences strategies and tactics across functional groups and/or within a product group.
  • Drives innovative idea generation for the products under management.
  • Acts as an individual contributor or leads a team to ensure product management effort is integrated with sales, technology, implementation, and servicing.
  • Manages the full marketing cycle for specific product categories.
  • Responsible for management of the P&L for the product(s).
  • Partners closely with Sales and Marketing to drive commercialization and expansion of product lines.
  • Leads partnerships with internal technology, global partners, and top Fintechs.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Commercial Cards, Virtual Payables, and B2B payments ecosystem.
  • Project Management and tactical delivery skills.
  • Effective Communication skills.
  • Innovative thinker.
  • Ability to build close partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 4+ years of experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Specific knowledge/experience with ICCP and supplier enablement partnerships.
  • Knowledge of key competitive capabilities.
