Truss Product Specialist

About the position

Play a key role in developing and selling our Truss product lines. Keep up-to-date on the changing Truss industry. This position is located at our General Office in Eau Claire, WI.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales for the Truss Plants.
• Travel to jobsites to assist with design issues and installation questions.
• Assist Team Members in resolving design problems that may arise on building projects.
• Work with contractors and guests in answering questions and solving problems.
• Share knowledge of trusses to help attract more contractors and guests.
• Perform inspections for field complaints.
• Work with stores on sales training for our products.
• Find contractors to use our products.
• Provide reporting on travel findings or events you take part in.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering / Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration / Management, Operations Management, Marketing, Construction, or Truss Sales.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Able to manage multiple concurrent activities.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of MiTek software (preferred)
