About the position

Flyby Robotics builds drones with massively powerful GPU processing capabilities. Our team is crafting American-made drones that serve as fully open platforms for applications in machine learning, data capture, and autonomous operations. We envision a future where drones computing trillions of operations per second can be deployed by hundreds of thousands across the Western world with a transformative impact across sectors, including industry, public safety, and defense. We are backed by top Silicon Valley investors, including Neo, MaC Ventures, Ryan Hoover (Product Hunt founder), Naval Ravikant (AngelList founder), and Balaji Srinivasan, among others. We recently won our first $1m+ DoD contract engagement to enable mission-specific AI to AFSOC Special Operators, and we’ve also crossed an important commercial sales milestone. We’re looking to work with talented visual designers with a strong background in creating stunning websites. We like to make a canvas to highlight the remarkable performance of our system and for others looking for US-made solutions to choose us as their robot. One side of this role is crafting beautiful web pages and content that people can see and interact with, which tells the story of this robot. The second side is that we’re looking for a candidate who is also interested in effectively distributing the messaging of the site, owning the SEO strategy, and launching campaigns. Our ideal candidate is a web UI/UX creator with good taste who also has an interest/experience in the marketing/distribution side of a creative endeavor. You'll work with a team of awesome engineers from Yale University, NASA JPL, NVIDIA, and U.S. Naval Air Command at our Culver City production facility, where we make our drones!

Responsibilities

  • Design visually stunning and interactive web pages and user interaction experiences.
  • Own technical SEO & content distribution operations.
  • Contribute to designing, messaging, writing, and distributing.

Requirements

  • Hybrid skill set between web UI/UX and marketing.
  • Strong development fundamentals (Next.js/JavaScript/React) and a previous UI/UX portfolio.
  • Prior experience or interest in ROI-driven growth marketing demand generation for high-ticket products or services.
  • Proven understanding of technical SEO and hands-on management with paid channels, including Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Good design tastes.
