Unarmed Security Officer

About the position

As a Clarion Unarmed Security Officer, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our clients property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, be attentive and alert, record and report incidents, and participate in the clients emergency response procedures as appropriate and provide superior customer service.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Obtain, hold, and maintain a valid guard card/license as required in the state.
• Successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen.
• For driving positions, must be 25 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience.
• Have a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
• Basic computer skills to operate innovative technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively.
• Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
