About the position

URBN is looking for a Temporary Marketing Analyst to contribute to the setup and application of Marketing performance models that drive growth and efficiency across the Marketing mix. URBN's approach to the Customer's experience is constantly evolving, employing Customer first and data centric strategies alongside innovation and best in class technology. The right candidate will have foundational knowledge of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) models, as well as experience in general marketing channels, performance, and metrics. This role will collaborate closely with 3rd party vendors and cross functional partners within Brands and Technology, and will be incredibly detail and action oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of MMM and MTA models to understand the impact of various marketing channels on core business metrics, such as Demand, Customer acquisition and retention, incrementality, and ROAS.
  • Help to drive forward tasks related to vendor and internal partners' onboarding, model scoping and setup, and data validation to ensure timely delivery of new models.
  • Collaborate with vendor and internal partners to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems and platforms; identify discrepancies to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Provide regular reporting to cover key metrics, trends, and comps, including ROAS, and to share findings from new models and from incrementality testing across our Brands.
  • Distill quantitative insights into qualitative and actionable recommendations as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, with strong grasp of MMM and MTA modeling methods, and especially with application to eCommerce and Retail.
  • Good working knowledge of the Digital Marketing mix, with a special focus on Paid Media channels.
  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • Proficiency with Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, and with BI tools such as Looker and MicroStrategy.
  • Strong communication skills, with great attention to detail and an ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Analytics, or related business fields.
