The Endocrine team comprises 2 products, Ngenla and Genotropin. Ngenla is a once-weekly pediatric growth hormone deficiency (pGHD) therapy that launched in June 2023 and is poised to become the anchor product of the franchise. Genotropin was the first product approved to treat pGHD in 1987. Approximately 1 in 4,000 US children are affected by pGHD and can result in physical, emotional, and social burden for the patients and their families. Current therapies (including Genotropin) require patients to commit to daily injections, leaving patients tethered to a strict injection schedule, which can impact quality of life and lead to suboptimal adherence, which affects their growth trajectory. Ngenla is among a new class of pGHD therapies that can offer patients similar growth to daily therapy, but with only 1 injection a week. The US Endocrine HCP Team Lead is a crucial leadership role that will guide the strategic direction and vision for the HCP team. This leader will be responsible for managing a current team of 2 full-time colleagues to drive HCP education and adoption and ultimately positively impact the lives of pediatric patients living with growth hormone deficiency. The ideal candidate will have US marketing expertise and will have led the advancement of key brand imperatives to maximize brand value. This colleague should also have strong business acumen, the ability to expertly uncover insights, and lead a team to action, with a drive to measure impact and demonstrate progress. Launch and immediate post-launch experience is preferred, in addition to people management (formal or informal). Given the dynamic nature of the endocrine franchise and the recent launch of Ngenla, this role requires a creative, adaptable and strategic colleague who is comfortable with marketing frameworks and problem solving in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the US Endocrine Brand Lead and will partner closely with several critical internal Pfizer teams/colleagues including, but not limited to, the RDS Field Force, Media, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and external vendors/agency partners.
