Responsibilities
- Deliver data engineering responsibilities independently
- Consult design with tech leads and drive deliveries
- Work on specific modules or parts of the system
- Develop clear objectives about module functionality
- Decompose functionality to tasks and work on them independently
- Provide mentorship and guidance on Data Migration Framework and Best Practices
- Ensure good knowledge on the Best Practices in Data Migration
- Handle data profiling and data quality
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in SAP BODS, SAP IS, Master data Consulting, problem definition, Architecture/Design Detailing of Processes
- At least 8 years of experience in SAP Data Migration with good exposure to S4 data migration
- Ability to independently handle Master Data objects and Transaction data objects including all ETL activities
- Experience in loading data from Legacy sources into the S/4 HANA or ECC system
- Experience in handling data migration, loading data using BODS from SAP ECC - S4/HANA in IDOCs
- Led at least 2 data migration projects
- Good understanding of ETL tools
- Hands-on experience in data load using LTMC, LSMW
- Understanding of ETL tool options
- Hands-on experience of ETL tools like BODS
- Good knowledge to implement the Data Migration Framework (From Extraction to Loading)
- Good knowledge on the Best Practices in Data Migration
- Experience in Data Validation Rules
- Hands-on experience in writing SQL or similar query languages
- Good exposure to different datastores e.g., Application level or RDBMS databases
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Understanding of SAP implementation methodologies
- Experience with project management
- Desire to work in a management consulting environment
Nice-to-haves
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences
- Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility
