About The Position

The Venue Opener is responsible for working independently and with a team to ensure successful events that exceed customer expectations. This includes gathering and executing upon venue-opening and event-day requirements, and interacting with guests and vendors in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner. Energy, enthusiasm, the ability to execute, and passion for the work, the people, and the customers are keys to achieving success in this role.

Requirements

Ability to stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced environment requiring movement
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a general labor role preferred
Experience in hospitality preferred
Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills preferred

Responsibilities

Ensure the grounds are open and inviting for all guests by setting up furniture and décor, performing light landscaping such as blowing leaves and debris or maintaining water features, and ensuring that trash is removed and placed in the appropriate receptacles
Assist in the execution of the design plan by moving and arranging furniture and décor as needed
Monitor and test on-site equipment as needed
Partner with maintenance, landscaping, and design teams to ensure any property issues are resolved promptly
Provide a great atmosphere for our guests and co-workers
Complete other duties as assigned
