The purpose of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Prevention Program is to set the core governance, frameworks and engagement models that address client and product-related AML risks. The AML Product Risk team, which sits within the AML Prevention Program, is responsible for delivering the frameworks, methodologies, and governance that implement AML’s approach to Product Risk, globally and enterprise-wide. This includes the end to end execution of AML New Product Approval (NPA) and New Physical Location (NPL) processes, and involves partnering with Business, and Independent Compliance Risk Management more broadly, to ensure robust documentation of applicable risks and mitigants within NPA or NPL records and Committee materials. The team also ensures that this program is well-articulated to regulatory and audit stakeholders where necessary. The AML Risk Management Lead Analyst is a senior professional level role responsible for a number of activities aligned with internal policies and procedures designed to prevent money laundering, and with assist in all matters concerning financial crime prevention in coordination with the broader Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team.
