About the position

AliveCor is looking for a VP, Employer Marketing to join our sales department. The person will lead marketing efforts for our employer sales organization. Reporting directly to the SVP of Employer, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping AliveCor’s market presence and supporting employer growth through strategic messaging, impactful content creation, lead generation, and event strategy. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with a deep understanding of employer marketing within healthcare or employee benefits, and a proven ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine AliveCor’s employer market positioning, ensuring alignment with the needs of consultants, brokers, and employer clients/partners
  • Create compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences, showcasing the unique and differentiated value of AliveCor’s offerings
  • Lead the creation of high-impact marketing materials, including one-pagers, brochures, case studies, white papers, and presentations, to support the employer team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with AliveCor’s brand voice
  • Oversee the Business Development team and collaborate on designing and executing lead generation campaigns to drive awareness and create opportunities for the employer sales team
  • Procure and leverage cost effective marketing automation and contact database tools to nurture leads and measure campaign performance
  • Identify and recommend key industry conferences and events to enhance AliveCor’s visibility within the employer, payer, and consulting/brokerage communities
  • Oversee event planning and execution, including booth design, sponsorship opportunities, and on-site support
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the employer team to enhance market positioning
  • Partner closely with the employer sales organization to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to execute employer marketing initiatives effectively

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on employer, B2B, or healthcare sectors
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful market messaging, campaigns, and content strategies
  • Strong experience creating and managing a variety of content formats, including sales collateral, case studies, and thought leadership pieces
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency in analyzing marketing data and KPIs to measure success and inform future strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Advanced degree or MBA preferred
