About the position

At Global Industrial, Marketing is pivotal to positioning, promoting and delivering on our mission and brand promise. The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for translating the overall business strategy into integrated marketing plans, campaigns, and deliverables; and develops the team's vision, goals, strategies, budgets, and processes, in alignment with the greater business goals. Additionally, the VP, Marketing works with internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners to execute short-term and long-term business plans. This position plans and directs marketing functions, including product marketing, creative services, digital, sales support, brand, and sports sponsorships.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Company's marketing objectives, strategies, and programs ensuring alignment with the Company's goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of both B2C and B2B go-to-market approaches.
  • Establishes the strategic vision and execution of marketing campaigns across various platforms within creative services, digital marketing, sales support, brand marketing and product marketing.
  • Develops a marketing budget following organizational goals and provides budgetary oversight and control to marketing initiatives.
  • Identifies, establishes and evaluates relationships with key agencies, partners and external programs.
  • Builds and develops a high performing team and uncovers areas for improvements and efficiency.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to continually improve and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs, tactics, and strategy.
  • Directs customer segmentation data collection, analysis, and interpretation for marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with the Sales department to align sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop an integrated marketing calendar as a central point for cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 9 or more years of work experience.

  • Master's Degree.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this position will be 240,000 to 280,000 annually.
