About the position

Clearstory is addressing a $200 billion problem in commercial construction related to Change Orders, which slow down jobs and create billing chaos. As the industry's first Change Order Communication and Workflow Platform, Clearstory aims to streamline processes for general contractors, subcontractors, and owners. The company is looking for a hands-on VP of Marketing who can blend brand and demand strategies to lead the narrative in this untapped market. The role involves building a marketing strategy while the company scales rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and own the full-funnel demand generation strategy including paid, organic, ABM, outbound assist, partner co-marketing, and events.
  • Launch and optimize campaigns across various channels such as Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn.
  • Own top-of-funnel performance and convert MQLs into pipeline by optimizing conversion paths, attribution, and lead scoring.
  • Continuously test channels, audiences, messaging, and nurture flows.
  • Lead content creation across formats including blog posts, customer stories, video, SEO, email, and product explainers.
  • Scale content production using AI tools to maintain quality while accelerating production.
  • Build dynamic campaign frameworks that respond to buyer signals.
  • Evolve and elevate Clearstory's brand identity to resonate with construction professionals.
  • Drive visibility through partnerships, earned media, and influencer relationships.
  • Craft creative campaigns that stand out in the market.
  • Lead and grow a nimble marketing team, collaborating with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

Requirements

  • Experience in full-funnel marketing strategy and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in AI tooling for marketing purposes.
  • Ability to write, launch, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in demand generation and growth marketing.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage a marketing team and collaborate across departments.
