About the position

General Beer Northeast, a beverage distribution company, has an opening for a Full-Time, Warehouse Associate working the day shift. This position facilitates receiving, warehousing, and distribution functions of the company as well as other duties as assigned by management. Typical hours would be Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Applicants should have great initiative and a positive attitude with a desire to excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate receiving, warehousing, and distribution functions of the company.
• Stock and organize cooler/picking area.
• Unload and load trucks when needed.
• Check in drivers at the end of the day.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Skills certification to operate warehouse product handling equipment (forklifts) in compliance with all safety regulations.
• Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day.
• Ability to work in temperatures 35-45 degrees for periods of time throughout the day.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide at a high school equivalency level.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with Class A B C CDL certification preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and lift evaluation.
