About The Position

The role Moderna is seeking an intern to support internal and external communications that increase its visibility as an mRNA leader, innovator, good corporate citizen and great place to work. This individual will work with the Brand & Corporate Affairs team to assist with the implementation of communications strategies, programs and materials and help maintain the Company’s internal communications channels. Here's What You’ll Do: Increase awareness of Moderna’s leadership in mRNA science, platform, pipeline, technology Assist with the development of internal and external communications, including short- and long-form content Maintain editorial calendars, communication plans and timelines Research trends, evaluate alternative solutions, document outcomes and metrics Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table: Minimum GPA of 3.0 Currently enrolled Junior or Senior A high level of initiative, a strong work ethic, creativity and the ability to balance multiple concurrent projects Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Canva A collaborative, solution-oriented and problem-solving approach to challenges as well as being open-minded to new ideas and approaches Previous co-op or intern experience preferred Must be highly curious, self-motivated, able to work independently, and energized by working in an area of emerging science, medicine and technology Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications) Rising juniors and above who are Marketing, Journalism and other communications-related majors are encouraged to apply. This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna’s site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work.
