About The Position

The Information and Data Resources team within the Force Projection Sector is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Knowledge Management Analyst to help elevate and modernize our internal document repository. This is an opportunity to play a key role in preserving and enhancing critical organizational knowledge - ensuring our materials are accurate, accessible, and built to last. In this role, you’ll lead the effort to convert legacy materials into high-quality digital files that meet accuracy and formatting standards. Your work will directly improve how teams find, use, and trust the information that supports their mission.

Requirements

  • Are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess a strong attention to detail
  • Work independently
  • Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Hold an active Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Have taken coursework in Information Management and/or Library Science (MLS/MLIS)
  • Have experience digitizing materials or managing metadata
  • Have experience in an academic or corporate archive
  • Have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel for tracking and reporting and/or Adobe Acrobat for PDF management

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality-control checks on each scanned file (clarity, completeness, correct orientation) and re-scan as needed
  • Systematically rename, index, and organize digital files to ensure consistency, accuracy, and ease of retrieval
  • Enter metadata and maintain tracking logs in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and custom in-house document repository
  • Develop and format clear, standardized project documentation—such as scanning logs and cover sheets—using Microsoft Word to support accuracy and traceability
  • Securely handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with data protection regulations
  • Identify opportunities to improve scanning workflows, file naming, and storage practices; suggest process enhancements
  • Assist with occasional ad hoc data entry or filing tasks as directed
