2026 Summer Human Services Internship
About The Position
Saratoga Bridges is seeking motivated Human Services majors for our 2026 Summer Internship Program. If you’re passionate about helping others and want hands-on experience in the human services field, this internship offers an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and make a meaningful difference in your community. During this 10-week paid summer internship (May–August), you’ll gain real-world experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in residential homes throughout Saratoga County. As part of the program, you’ll receive paid training as a Direct Support Professional, preparing you with practical skills that will strengthen your resume and future career in human services. You’ll work 20–40 hours per week, primarily during evenings and weekends, building valuable experience while working alongside compassionate professionals dedicated to improving lives.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Services or a related field at an accredited college
- Have completed at least one year of your program
- Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Be available to work evenings and weekends
