About The Position

This is a full-time, 10-week internship program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice. The internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026. In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor. You'll join one of our departments for the summer, where you'll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it's like to work at a leading connectivity company. You'll have opportunities to gain new skills and elevate the ones you already have, all in a robust and forward-thinking business setting. Build connections with our team members and senior leaders who can help you better understand what our business looks like and what it's like to work here. Receive mentorship from a member of our team, who can provide one-on-one advice to help you reach your professional goals.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree in a STEM related major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
  • Must have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
  • Experience with Java coding and writing SQL queries.
  • Analytical skills.

  • Communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Drives results through effective project and time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to feature development with an application development team leveraging full stack Java skills and/or python.
  • Coding and performing unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating with customers, internal, and cross-departmental technical teams to identify software problems and communicate remediation plans.
