About The Position

202 6 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – Product Development #1 The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($ 20 /hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament! The Product Development internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the PD team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives. Clinical Status : Clinical PROJECT DETAILS /TRAINING : You will help identify and verify user needs, design requirements and assist in prototype development and testing of at least one concept for use in general orthopedic MIS applications (i.e. injectable PliaFx) and novel restorative techniques for trauma applications in small joint spaces You will also help to develop development documents to facilitate understanding of good documentation practices. Requirements

  • You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • BA in Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology preferred
  • Two years of engineering coursework preferred
  • You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026
  • Y ou must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 – August 7 ), full-time, 40 hours/week
