About The Position

The AMCB Summer Intern supports their Line of Business in the development and execution of work projects to support the Business' goals & objectives. The Summer Intern embodies TD's Shared Commitments and customer-focused culture. Finance – U.S. Accounting Focus U.S. Finance develops and delivers financial strategy and provides insightful advice and analytics, sound governance, and operational excellence to help TD Bank, AMCB develop and execute their strategies and achieve their financial targets. Its directive encompasses being a valuable business partner in providing financial and strategic advice through performance management reporting, business case analysis, and planning and forecasting. Finance supports a broad network of U.S. and Enterprise business partners and stakeholders, helps drive shareholder value through P&L and balance sheet management, and is a business partner who is at the table for key strategic discussions. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, this role may support accounting and financial reporting activities, including: • Interpreting and applying U.S. GAAP and regulatory reporting guidance • Evaluating accounting policy implications for transactions, or structural changes • Partnering with Controllership, Treasury, and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely reporting • Supporting quarterly and annual financial reporting processes (10-Q / 10-K, internal management reporting) • Identifying control considerations and supporting SOX and audit requirements Finance is offering in-person internship opportunities in Mount Laurel, NJ. Requirements

  • Pursuing post secondary degree in business-related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and accountability of your actions
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • You must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Anticipated graduation between December 2026 - June 2027 preferred
