About The Position

BNBMC is looking to hire paid summer interns across a broad field of functions. Salary is $16.50/hour. We can provide up to 40 hours per week work schedules. Come join our winning team for the Summer of 2026! Our Business Analytics department are seeking a motivated and analytical Business Analytics Intern to join our team. As a Business Analytics Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data-driven decision-making process. You will be involved in various stages of analytics projects, including data labeling, model evaluation, refinement, dimension mapping, and ETL development. This position offers a rich, hands-on learning experience in a dynamic business environment, ideal for someone passionate about leveraging data to drive business success.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Demonstrable understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must have completed at least Freshman year of College/Trade School.
- High School Diploma Required
Responsibilities
- Data Labeling: Organize and label data effectively, ensuring high quality and accessibility for analysis.
- Model Evaluation: Assess and report on the performance of statistical models, identifying areas for improvement.
- Model Refinement: Collaborate with the analytics team to refine and enhance models based on evaluation outcomes.
- Dimension Mapping: Work on identifying and mapping key data dimensions, ensuring alignment with business needs and analytics goals.
- ETL Development: Assist in the design and implementation of ETL processes for more efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.
