2027 Summer Associate - Roanoke
About The Position
Gentry Locke Attorneys is recruiting rising 2L law students for a summer clerkship in 2027. This position will be in our Roanoke office. The summer associate role will provide an opportunity to perform meaningful legal work, develop professional skills, experience a law firm environment, and receive training in client service and business development. Students can expect to conduct legal research, draft documents and memoranda, attend hearings and depositions, and work with partners and associates on significant cases and projects. Students will learn about the practice of law working side by side with attorneys, paralegals, and other Firm team members. The summer program includes social events and outings giving students the opportunity to get to know the Firm, attorneys and professional staff while having a lot of fun.
