About the position
Exposure Skate empowers women and girls through skateboarding and teaches compassion through service. We offer a range of classes, camps, retreats, college scholarships and events for all ages which incorporate social and emotional learning through skateboarding, mindfulness and community service. Exposure's unique programming creates an outlet for women and girls to build confidence, community, education and healthy mental and physical well-being. The Marketing VISTA will increase Exposure Skate's capacity to share our story through marketing and media asset creation and curation. If you are motivated, a self-starter, a team player, take direction well, have experience with capturing and editing video, have experience with Canva and the Adobe Suite, and have experience with Wordpress, this is a great fit for you!
Responsibilities
- Capture and create content that tells the story of the Exposure Skate nonprofit.
- Create video, photo, and graphic design assets that promote programs and events.
- Manage the rollout of content across social media platforms.
- Update outdated materials and new developments on exposureskate.org via Wordpress.
Requirements
- Experience with capturing and editing video.
- Experience with Canva and the Adobe Suite.
- Experience with Wordpress.
- Motivated and self-starter.
- Ability to take direction well.
- Team player.
