Second Shift Lead Needed. Demonstrated ability to perform the duties outlined in Machine Operator. Monitor quality of parts produced and report problems to the Process Technician, Supervisor and/or Quality Manager. Assign operators to machines and train as needed. Move Forward With Us What you will be doing: Orient, train, and coach new operators utilizing proper documentation. Perform QC checks every two hours. Complete start-up inspection of parts at beginning of the shift. Ensure correct paperwork is at the machines. o QC Sheet o Set up sheet o Correct sample o Production labels Support and pack machines running without operators. Ensure data is entered into the production system during shift. Ensure accuracy of operator paperwork. Give breaks at machines as needed. At shift change, communicate with next shift Lead problems or potential problems during shift. Assist with changeovers by ensuring that all support equipment is at the molding machines and help maintain them. Follow nonconforming product/reject procedure for defective parts. Responsible organization of work areas, housekeeping is maintained, and work areas and machines are clean from dirt and debris. Sustain 5S policy. Perform rework/reclaim as needed. Follow safety rules. Perform other duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has limited supervisory responsibilities. Who we want: · Hard-working winners . Requirements

  • Communicate verbally and read and write in English.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and good eyesight.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and meet objectives without constant supervision.
  • Ability to work with others and utilize effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Equivalent of four years of high school and/or 12 months manufacturing/warehouse/QC related experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 6 months as Machine Operator (required).
