Funko currently holds thousands of licenses and the rights to create tens of thousands of characters – one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry. Funko’s Pop! Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world. The 3D Digital Sculptor takes initiative to hone their understanding of the Funko brand esthetic as they work on various product lines. This role generates 3D assets for a variety of product lines exclusively in ZBrush. This job requires daily interaction with other Designers, Sculptors, Engineers, Packaging Artists and Product Developers to ensure the smooth and efficient production of all Funko toys and collectibles. They need to possess a solid understanding of the Funko rules and stylization when creating their products and will require minimal art direction when doing so. The 3D Digital Sculptor possesses basic understanding of factory limitations and molding process in toy collectible creation. The 3D Digital Sculptor will report to the Sculpting Manager, and they will work together with them to achieve creative and artistic goals.
