About The Position
The Fourth Grade Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing, faith-centered learning environment that supports the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young children. The teacher integrates Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction while delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with state standards and diocesan guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid state teaching certification (Elementary Education, grades 1–6 or equivalent).
- Commitment to supporting and modeling Catholic values and teachings.
- Ability to teach core subjects including Religion, English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills appropriate for upper elementary students.
- Experience using assessment data to guide instruction and support student growth.
- Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Completion of diocesan background check and Safe Environment/child protection training.
