About The Position

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and innovative 5th-6th Grade Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification for elementary education with a focus on mathematics.
Proven experience teaching mathematics at the upper elementary and/or middle school level.
Strong understanding of Finnish education practices and a commitment to integrating them into daily instruction.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for fostering a joy-filled learning environment.

Responsibilities

Mathematics Instruction: Develop and implement engaging and differentiated math lessons aligned with the curriculum and Finnish education principles.
Foster a growth mindset among students, encouraging them to embrace challenges and learn from mistakes.

Facilitate discussions and activities that help students connect their math skills to potential future careers.
Assessment and Feedback: Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
