East Hamilton Middle

East Hamilton Middle is a 6-8 School located in Ooltewah, TN, just outside of Chattanooga. Our school offers teachers a family-like atmosphere with a collaborative spirit and support for every member of our faculty. Our faculty values a commitment to excellence, focuses on what is best for students, and develops the unique, diverse qualities of our students. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid Tennessee teaching license in Mathematics 6-8, 6-12 Mathematics OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
• Positive, student-focused educators with strong content and classroom management skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Committed to high expectations and academic achievement for all students
• Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous growth

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
• Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
• Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
• Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
• Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
• Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

• Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
• Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
