What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic: You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.

Requirements

• High school education, GED, or a bonze level WorkKeys certification required
• A&P License is required
• Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required.
• Experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
• A minimum of 3 years' experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
• Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups.
• Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
• Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies
